Description

CommonHealth is an Android app that helps users collect and manage personal health data and securely share it with trusted health services, organizations, and apps. Developed by The Commons Project, a nonprofit public trust, CommonHealth prioritizes privacy, informed consent, and the interests of individuals.

SMART Health Card Integration

One of the standout features of CommonHealth is its support for SMART Health Cards. These digital or printed versions of vaccination history or test results are shared through QR Codes and can be issued by supported states, pharmacies, and providers. This integration allows users to easily access and share their health information with authorized parties.

It is important to note that at present, CommonHealth does not support paper CDC cards. However, users can expect more options to obtain SMART Health Cards as states and providers continue to adopt this technology.

Samsung Pay and Google Pay Integration

CommonHealth has recently introduced the ability for Samsung Pay and Google Pay users to export their SMART Health Cards to their digital wallets. This convenient feature allows users to have their health information readily accessible on their mobile devices, further streamlining the sharing process.

Extensive Data Sources

CommonHealth is connected to over 400 data sources, including reputable institutions such as Mayo Clinic, Cleveland Clinic, and New York-Presbyterian. This extensive network ensures that users have access to a wide range of health records and data. Once a user's healthcare provider is connected to CommonHealth, they can choose to securely share their information with other apps and services that have been vetted by CommonHealth for security and trustworthiness.

Privacy and Trust

Developed by The Commons Project, CommonHealth places a strong emphasis on privacy, informed consent, and user interests. As a nonprofit public trust, the app is designed to prioritize the security and confidentiality of user data. Users can feel confident that their personal health information is protected when using CommonHealth.

In conclusion, CommonHealth is a powerful Android app that allows users to collect, manage, and securely share their personal health data. With its support for SMART Health Cards, integration with Samsung Pay and Google Pay, and extensive network of data sources, CommonHealth provides a comprehensive solution for individuals looking to take control of their health information. Developed by The Commons Project, this app prioritizes privacy and trust, making it a reliable choice for managing personal health data.

Sucks

All of my Covid-19 and international travel vaccine records are all on one handy app. Easily accessible in case I need to present them to the airline gate agent or airport-based health official to prove that I am fully vaccinated to enter their country.

no physicians I've seen are in the app database, so it's useless unless they happen to have your doctors in their system or the SMART card thing

I just updated v11.5, it basically wiped out all my data. This update just reset the app, deleted my records and cards. That's not any improvement. Resolution?

The worst two hours and pitting all correct but the app keeps logging out and restarting frustrating

Update 1.11.5 just wiped all my data. It's all gone. Thank you (folks, read the What's New, I guess that's supposed to be humor). Since my state's website is no longer operational, there is no way for me to replace the data. Thanks Common Health!

Update ate all my data, now I have to setup everything again :( Would have been a great app if it could reliably store data. Until backup/restore is added this app is as good as useless.

This app cannot be opened on the phone. To open it one must go to the Play store and select the app and it will have an "open" selection. There is no shortcut icon to open it anywhere on the phone.

App has been crashing even when not running for the last week. Has been uninstalled until issues are addressed

The app does not open, only crashes. Seriously hard to use a smart card when it is playing that dumb.

Can we standardize our lengths. I mean 6 digits now? Everything else is 4. Not worth trying to remember another random digit just to pay a bill

good

It says it connected to my health record via NextGen, but no records show. I was later able to sync them to another app (Guava) so I think the issue is on your end. After the initial refresh, my name and DOB in NextGen record screen on this app show as just dashes.

Fast, secure access to my health/ vaccination records while on the go - a must have App that allows for productive time management; especially on your days "off-the-grid-but-hafta-adult".

good app to carry vaccination record
