Reviews for Auto Redial
I have the Note 10+. For the redialer, I keep getting an error after a couple attempted calls saying call not sent. The redialer then stops retrying unless I hit the green call button from within the app, then it attempts a couple more times and rinse and repeat. So I've gone the schedule route, which also gets the call not sent error, but at least because I have it scheduled, it automatically retries every minute. Adding on more, it's crashed my phone twice now. I'm not sure exactly of the cause, but my phone just freezes, can't do anything. Eventually a message will say System UI has stopped responding and I can either wait or close. Neither work and I have to force my phone to shutdown.
I will give it five stars and a great review IF you fix the speaker phone toggle and make the speaker speak, so to speak! Lol! All kidding aside, this is super lightweight, super simple to use, it can be set to redial many times or schedule a call for a later date. It says your number to redial can also have an extension although I haven't tried it yet. Please, please fix the speaker phone issue!
Seems to sporadically do what is supposed to. I had the issue that many people mentioned where you have to manually hang up (for me 95% of the time) as opposed to the app doing what I expected. I did "use schedule" as advised through another post and no. At the point where it should have hung up and redialed a message popped up saying "the call was not made". Uhhh...no kidding the call was not made. When the message pops up it also goes to speaker so that the annoying busy signal is now louder. The message pops up one or two more times before eventually hanging up. The hang up redial ratio seems much better using schedule but the whole point in a redial service/app for me is that when the line is busy than IMMEDIATE hang up/redial. The app did not offer to allow the call to go on LESS than a minute and even though I set timer to redial 1 second after hanging up (you can use seconds for redial) there was still a wait of up to 1 minute before the redial...precious time that I may have gotten through. All in all a nice idea that needs a bit of fine tuning. I will not be contacting support, the developers other answer-all reply as I am only using this to try and get through to the state store in backwards PA - hardly an earth shattering need for this app. And if it is than you got bigger problems than a less than stellar app.
Tried this app to auto dial for busy signals I keep getting calling for unemployment compensation. After 200+ auto dials I actually got through. Set it to 3 second auto dials and set my phone down while the app did all the work. Best auto dial app I've tried!!! It DID NOT hang up or auto dial again when the phone rang, only when it recognized a busy signal. LOVE THIS APP!!! Thanks developers!!!
Works great for me on note 8 android 9. For people saying it doesn't work, try going into your dialer settings and turning "auto retry" on. Android used to do this out of the box but it got nerfed after nougat. I'm pretty sure that's what makes android disconnect on a busy signal and allows this program to hook the dialer and retry. Otherwise you will just stick on the busy signal. It's dialer settings, the 3 dot overflow menu on the dialer itself, not general settings. Hope this helps.
I downloaded this in order to continue to call the UI office. It redials for about 100 calls (you can set a very high limit). After this, my office freezes up and it takes me forever to get it to restart. Although inconvenient, it's faster for me to just manually redial.
Virtually useless. Doesn't actually detect busy signals, just dials numbers for you. However, if you are lucky enough that the call is rejected and terminates because all circuits are busy, etc. then the app will do its job. Otherwise it might save you a screen press or two compared to redialing without the app.
Worked but VERY finicky. Would quit or lock up (either the app or my whole effi phone) if any of the following happened while running the app: - I received text, email, message or any notifications at all. - I tried to switch to another app while redialing (i.e. let it run in the background while I multitasked) - my phone went to sleep - I bumped the screen/a button - I sneezed - Day of the week ended in the letter "y" Never did get thru to the number. Installing another app. Android V10
Doesn't hang up and redial when phone number I'm calling has a busy signal. What's the point of a redial app if it can't detect a busy signal and hang up and redial?! Also, in settings the "turn speaker on" was checked but the speaker never turned on, I had to keep doing it all manually: turning on speaker and hanging up. What I want is an app that hangs up for me when there's a busy signal and redials.
Simple to use. Room to improve: - some options in the Settings have too long a text whose last part is not visible and the UI does not rotate to Landscape mode - countdown during 1st dialing seems superfluous and could be skipped - the app could enable memorizing a few numbers (with custom labels) such that a user does not have to enter them every time (such as doctors' numbers).
