Reviews for App Manager
I'm dumb as rocks, if the app doesn't explain anything upfront then I'm not gonna get it. 3 stars bc I didn't want to give it 1 despite my instant disappointment, bc ik it has other features I simply did not check out. But from that one failed feature, I saw it didn't accurately tell me that cache was cleared. Again, maybe not the fault of the app, but it proves unhelpful. All there is is a button that says "clear cache" and it said it did but did nothing. I am tired. Just wanna clear cache.
Expect customizable smaller font size and smaller line spacing among apps to show more apps in a small phone screen
It's great and does what it says on the box. But that's it. I just wish there was an app like this that also allowed user-defined tags or notes to be associated with apps and that one could then filter and, optionally, execute batch actions on the filtered list. For one, I often install multiple applications, sometimes up to 20, just to evaluate them to find which best suits my needs. As such I need a way to keep track of which apps I have tested and what I think of them to then uninstall most.
The search is useless. Why not use some app archive? Missing features like installation paths. Trying to solve real problem: new version of one app does not recognize its data files; maybe some paths have changed. where? .. this kind of an app should solve the problem. AND should be able to install previous versions. Just hacking a new "App Manager" extended version and copying what we already have is NOT it. Create something NEW. Show paths, show other real information. BoFH since 1985 ....
This app doesn't have intrusive ads, but it makes it easy to get rid of the ones that do. easier than going to the play store or trying to hunt It down elsewhere and it has many great features. It's fun to tinker with also. One of my favorite toys.
I like this app very much, many options in one place, but lately it's been using a lot of ram! 500mb or so, and doesn't clear out from memory after being removed from recents, it holds on to the 500mb ram for the rest of the device being up(or app killed manually). I am on OnePlus 6T and optimise battery is on for this app. Edit: 3 star was only for high memory footprint, changed it to 4 after the response, will update to 5 if the memory footprint is reduced, or goes low when in background
App Manager and I uninstalled some pesky apps, Smoothly. I will have more apps they appear when there's updates on the phone. thank-you. I placed you in Playstore when I clean my apps I would like to delete a few more. e.g. Uber, Plenti, a big bunch of Samsung. e.g. Cloud, health, wearable, unnecessary waste of room. we deleted 4.1 GB yesterday. Wow wow, Amazing
It was a good app with a rooted phone. Without root it doesn't do anything beyond what I can do in the app section of device settings. Needs way too many permissions for what it does and stays open in the background after closing the app. Seems a little spyware like these days.
one of the best apps ive received in a while that gives me a level of control i didnt know possible. where i feel like many apps take control away and do mysterious things without my knowledge this app returns that control. good app guys ty.....PS: any way i can get some special tips or an online manual so i can really learn how tp utikize? trying to remove a 1 year long assault from malware or an individual. lost a lot of money and devices
I am still learning what terms mean & what things do -- the hard way, of course! I was trying to re-enable an app (system?) that's disabled. Don't know why. Came on my dumb TracFone, so don't know what they are, or do, or even if I need them?! Phone's been screwing up, 'acting weird'; looked thru phone's apps. (Virus check said no.) Asked Google help. Seems 'Stock Android', listed in Settings Apps, doesn't really exist?!? LOL I put this on to see if re-enables. Just glad didn't mess up!
